Danny Rohl has provided an update on Rangers’ injury situation with Nico Raskin, John Souttar, and Ryan Naderi all ruled out of contention against Celtic.

When the starting line-up was announced, there was the noticeable absence of Raskin from the squad, while the other two have been on the fringes in recent weeks.

Ahead of the clash against Celtic at Parkhead, Danny Rohl provided clarity.

Nico Raskin situation explained

Speaking to Rangers TV, the German coach said that Raskin, Souttar and Naderi are suffering from muscle problems and that ‘the game was too soon’.

Rohl has decided on more Rangers surprises with the team selection, as players continue to come in and out of the side.

The pressure is on the manager and he needs a result this afternoon at Parkhead.
